Why should iPod repair doctor be your first choice for iPod and iPhone repairs?

How long does it take to complete the repair?
Our aim is to repair your iPod or iPhone in the quickest time possible, usually within 24hrs of receiving it.
Does using your service void my warranty?
Absolutely yes, Apple state any repairs not done by themselves will void warranty. If your iPod Is still under warranty we suggest you use Apple's repair service.
Do you take on repairs from other countries?
No we will only take on repairs from the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.
What is the procedure to get my iPod or iPhone repaired?
First of all click on the Fix My iPod and follow the on screen process, fill out the form, then make payment. We will then send you instructions by email on how to send us your iPod. You send us your iPod, we repair it and then send it back to you via Royal Mail Special Delivery. As simple as that.
Do I need to send you my sim card when I send my iPhone?
We leave this up to you, but please let us know your passcode.
I have lost my repair number and haven't received an email?
Please check your junk box, if it's not in there please contact us with your name and address and we will find it for you.
Will I loose any music or data on my iPod?
If your repair requires a hard drive change unfortunately you will loose all of your music/data, all other repairs will be fine and you will still have your music/data. Should you be worried please back up your data via iDump (Windows) or iPodDisk (Mac) this will ensure your data is not lost.
Will I loose any music or data on my iPhone or iPod Touch?
We do not replace the logic boards or hard drives in these units therefore you will not loose any music, pictures , data, telephone numbers etc
When you repair my iPod or iPhone will I receive a refurbished unit or my own one back?
We will only repair and return the same unit you send us. We will not send some one else's iPod or iPhone that has been previously repaired as an exchange unit. Like some other companies do.
How can I pay?
We accept Credit/debit cards via PayPal, or personal cheques, & postal orders sent with your iDevice.
I don't know what model my iPod is?
Please check here to find out how to identify your model. If you are still unsure please contact us with your serial number and we will check.
Do we fix any other iPod models?
Due to a lack of parts we only carry out repairs on the iPods and iPhones shown on our website. If it's not on there, then we don't repair it. Please don't email us asking if we do.
Do you fix any other problems not listed with the iPod models listed on your site?
Yes we do please contact us if you know what the fault is or please choose 'Diagnostics' from the fix my iPod pages. We will then diagnose the fault with your iPod, iPad or iPhone for you. Once we have carried out a diagnostics, we will then send you an email invoice for the remaining amount of the cost of the repair. You can then pay by debit/credit card Paypal. We will then carry out the repair and send it right back to you.
Do you carry out multiple repairs on the same iPod or iPhone?
Yes we do if you require 2 or more repairs to be done on the same iPod or iPhone simply add them to your basket.
Can I send my iPod or iPhone to be repaired in pieces?
This is generally ok, but we may refuse to repair it because we don't now how much damage has been caused or we may charge an extra fee.
I'm not to sure what repair I need?
Please contact us and describe your problem as best as you can, we will indicate the repair needed.
What if I decide I don't want you to carry out the repair?
Please email us with your reasons, if you have not sent your iPod, we will refund the full charge. If you have all ready sent it off but we haven't carried out the repair we will charge a £10 administration fee this include posting the iPod back to you. Once we have started the repair we cannot issue a refund.
